What is Leo Pro, and what does it actually do?
Leo Pro is Real's AI platform for agents, launched in October 2026. It runs more than three dozen AI agents inside reZEN that complete transaction paperwork, build CMAs and listing presentations, make listing videos, and work your CRM, while you approve anything that matters. I wrote a full breakdown here: What Is Real's Leo Pro?
How much does Leo Pro cost, and what are Leo Tokens?
Leo Pro is $19.99 a month and optional. Heavier AI work, like video, runs on Leo Tokens, and Real agents get 20,000 free tokens when they download the app.
Can Leo Pro write offers and fill out contracts?
Yes. Leo Pro completes the required documents for any transaction type, as long as the forms are in your file. You don't mark up where to fill. It reviews each form, fills what it can, asks you specific questions so nothing is left blank, and sends it out for signature. You approve before anything goes out.
Do I still need DocuSign or dotloop at Real?
No. Signatures run through Real Signature, which is built into the platform, so an agent who pays for their own DocuSign or dotloop account can drop that subscription.
What's the difference between HeyLeo and Leo Pro?
HeyLeo is the consumer side: your clients search homes and ask questions by text or email in plain language, 24/7, on a dedicated Leo Line number. Leo Pro is your side: paperwork, marketing, CRM follow-up, and the AI employees you build.
Can I build my own AI assistant in Leo Pro?
Yes. Leo Pro AI Builder lets you create an AI employee by describing the job in plain English, such as "every Friday, text my past clients a market update for their zip code." Each one gets a job description, the tools it needs, and a trigger. What you build stays private unless you choose to share it.
How does Referral Central work?
Referral Central lives inside reZEN. You can match with Real agents anywhere using verified production data, location, and specialties, then send, track, and digitally sign the referral fee agreement in a few clicks. You can also list your own areas and specialties so other Real agents send clients to you.
Do RE/MAX agents get Leo Pro?
Leo Pro is rolling out to Real agents first, with the RE/MAX network following later. Real agents have it now.
What is reZEN?
reZEN is Real's transaction platform. Every file, document, deadline, commission payout, and now Leo Pro and Referral Central live in one place from contract to closing.
Split, cap and fees
What is Real's commission split?
85/15 until you cap, then you keep 100% of your commission for the rest of your cap year.
How much is Real's cap, and when does it reset?
The cap is $12,000, $6,000, or $4,000 depending on your arrangement. It resets on your anniversary date, the date you joined Real, not on January 1.
What does it cost to join Real, including every fee?
A $249 one-time sign-up fee, a $900 annual brokerage fee, a $50 CBR fee per transaction, and a $285 per-transaction fee after you cap. There's no monthly fee, desk fee, or office fee. Figures are effective September 1, 2026 and set by Real. The full table is on my Join Real Broker page.
How does a team or spousal cap work at Real?
A married or domestic partnership team shares a single $12,000 cap, not one each. Agents on a team may have a lower individual cap depending on the team arrangement. On a Zoom I'll walk through which structure fits you.
What do I pay per transaction after I cap?
$285 per transaction after you cap, plus the $50 CBR fee. Your split is 100% after cap.
How fast does Real pay commission after closing?
Usually within 24 hours, depending on when your paperwork is turned in and whether it comes in during regular business hours. If you use Real Wallet, the money can land within hours.
How much would I keep at my production level?
It depends on your average commission and how many deals you close before you cap. Send me your last 12 months and I'll run your numbers on a Zoom, side by side with what you pay now. Book 30 minutes here.
Revenue share and stock
How does Real's revenue share work?
Real shares up to 60% of its company revenue with agents, based on the agents they personally bring to the company. None of it is deducted from any agent's commission. There are five tiers, from 5% at tier 1 down to 1% at tier 5. How deep you're paid depends on how many first-line agents you've brought: 1 to 4 unlocks tier 1, 5 to 14 unlocks tier 2, 15 to 19 unlocks tier 3, 20 to 24 unlocks tier 4, and 25 or more unlocks tier 5. Terms are set by Real and can change, and nothing here is a representation of earnings.
Does capping or Elite status unlock more revenue share tiers?
Yes. When you cap, you automatically unlock tier 3. When you reach Elite, you unlock up to tier 5. Those unlocks reset on your anniversary date.
Is Real Brokerage an MLM or a pyramid scheme?
No. Real is a licensed brokerage that earns money when agents close real estate transactions. Revenue share is paid out of Real's own company revenue, up to 60% of it in a given month, and not one penny is deducted from any agent's commission. There's no fee to bring someone in, and nobody is required to recruit. Plenty of Real agents never sponsor anyone.
Do I have to recruit to succeed at Real?
No. Revenue share is optional. The split, cap, technology, and Leo Pro work the same whether you sponsor anyone or not.
Is Real's revenue share willable?
Yes. After five years, you can designate a beneficiary to receive your revenue share.
What happens to my revenue share if I retire?
You can keep earning monthly revenue share after you retire, as long as you keep your license active.
How do Real's stock awards and Elite status work?
You can choose to invest 5% of each commission in Real stock (10% after you cap), and Real adds a 10% bonus (15% after cap). Elite status recognizes roughly the top 1% of the company and comes with a $12,000 stock award. Real stock (Nasdaq: REAX) goes up and down like any stock, so treat it as a long-term holding, not a guarantee.
Joining and sponsorship
Does it matter who sponsors me at Real?
Yes. Every Real agent gets the same platform, but your sponsor decides who picks up the phone when a deal goes sideways and who helps you actually use the tools. Choose someone who's still selling and knows how Real works on the inside.
What do I get with David Sordelet as my sponsor?
You get 20+ years of real estate experience and 1,000+ closed transactions, plus inside knowledge of how Real works and its best practices. You get access to David and Iris at the level only our team members have. And David is Real's Designated Broker for Delaware, chosen for that role for his knowledge, his experience, and his commitment to seeing the company grow the right way.
How do I name a sponsor when I join Real?
You name your sponsor on your application. Use the application link on my Join Real Broker page, which carries my sponsorship, and open it on the device you'll actually sign up on.
Is Real good for new agents?
It can be, if you have the right sponsor. Real is built for agents who can work independently, so a brand-new agent should join under someone who will actually coach them. My agents get our 2027 business plan training and a weekly coaching call.
Is there a Real office in Delaware, or is it fully virtual?
Real operates as a cloud-based brokerage. Real's Delaware office of record exists to meet state regulations and isn't a working office for agents. Team Sordelet runs its own private office at 1400 Peoples Plaza, Suite 110, in Newark.
What training does Real offer?
Real Academy runs live and on-demand training every week, and Leo Pro Academy runs weekly sessions with demos and case studies from agents using it. Agents I sponsor also get my business plan training and the weekly group coaching call.
Switching brokerages
What happens to my listings and pending deals if I switch?
Listings and pending deals belong to your current brokerage, so they need a release from your broker to move, and your listing agreements spell out what's allowed. Many agents close out pending deals where they are and time the move around their listings. We'll plan the timing on a Zoom so nothing in your pipeline gets dropped.
How do I transfer my license to Real in Delaware?
In Delaware, you file a Real Estate License Transfer service request in DELPROS, the state's online licensing system, and select Real's Broker of Record and office. Double-check the broker and office numbers, because errors delay processing. I'll give you the exact numbers when you're ready.
How do I transfer my license in Maryland or Pennsylvania?
In Maryland, you file a transfer to the new broker with the Maryland Real Estate Commission; the transfer fee is $28. In Pennsylvania, your current broker releases your license in PALS and your new broker accepts it. Your license isn't active for practice until the transfer is complete.
Can I bring my whole team to Real?
Yes. Real supports teams, and team members can have a lower individual cap depending on the arrangement. If you lead a team, let's talk through structure and timing before anyone moves.
Leaving Keller Williams, eXp, Compass or RE/MAX for Real: what changes?
The big changes are usually the split and cap math, fees, technology, and how revenue share works. Read your current agreement for notice periods, listing ownership, and what happens to any revenue share you've earned there. Bring your agreement and your numbers to a Zoom and I'll go through it line by line.

The company
What happens to Real agents after the RE/MAX acquisition?
Real Broker, LLC continues as its own brokerage under the parent company Real REMAX Group. Your split, cap, revenue share, and equity stay with Real Broker. RE/MAX continues as a separate franchise network. More here: What Real Buying RE/MAX Means for Delaware Agents.
Is Real Brokerage publicly traded, and how big is it?
Yes, on Nasdaq under REAX. Real has just under 39,000 agents, grew its agent count 26% year over year, and reported $700.6 million in revenue for the second quarter of 2026, up 30%.
